Backpacker Huts - the upgrade to the campsite!

No more in the mood for your own mattress? Then the backpacker cabins in the camp are just the thing!

Here are eight Makuti huts between coconut palms,
huts with a roof of woven palm fronds,
fixed Kanvas walls and a lockable door.
They are very simple with doormats, a small double bed (140 * 180 cm) or two single beds as twin (90 * 180 cm) or as triple with 3 single beds,
Mosquito nets, light and electricity connection set up. Furthermore, there is a small zanzibar chest as safe box in each hut.

Towels and bed linen are provided by us. You can rent a fan at the reception for US $ 2 per day.

The sanitary facilities with slightly saline water are about 30m away and are bothYou as well as the campers available. They are built and furnished to European standards. You will find 6 cold water showers, 4 sinks and 5 toilets (all with water flushing).

Our beach bar is a popular meeting place with cool drinks and delicious dishes.

Single Hut for single use with breakfast: 25 US $ per night

Double Hut (1 bed 140cm wide x 180cm long) with breakfast 20 US $ per person per night // 40 US $ for 2 persons

Twin Hut (2 beds - 90cm wide x 180cm long) with breakfast: 20 US $ per person per night // 40 US $ for 2 persons

Triple hut (3 beds - 90cm wide x 180cm long) with breakfast: 20 US $ per person and night // 60 US $ for 3 persons

All prices plus US $ 1.50 pPpN as TDL (Tourism Development Levy) for the Tanzanian government since 1.10.2013. Unfortunately, this new tax must be paid cash / cash in TZS, €, or US $ here, as we have to pay it immediately to Pangani.

In our restaurant and beach bar we offer lunch from 6US $,
3 course dinner menu for 15US $, and if you are not so hungry you can order "only" the main course for 8 US $.
Of course we also always offer vegetarian options.
All with a fantastic sea view :-)
There are very simple and cheap local restaurants in about 30 minutes walk in Ushongo Village.
