Zanzibar is a small but international airport. There are flights depending on travel time from 600,00 € ( Tax) return eg from KLM (via Amsterdam) or Condor from many cities in Germany. The visa for Tanzania you can buy for $ 50 without problems in the airport at the Immigration Office. ZNZ Airport is 5km outside of Stone Town. A taxi costs about 20US $ to Stone Town.

By plane from Zanzibar you have the possibility to get to almost all East African airports (Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Arusha / Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Mombasa). Most are smaller charter airlines whose flight schedule and prices change more often.

You can also join us daily Auric Air and Coastal Aviation from Zanzibar at 08:55 in the morning and in the afternoon at 17:30 to us and in the morning 07:45, as in the afternoon at 14:45 fly from us to Zanzibar. Our airstrip / airfield is called Kwajoni, is only 3km away from us and the flight costs about $ 140 per person and takes only 30 minutes.
Auric Air flies for $ 90 daily at 11:35 am in Stone Town, arriving at Kwajoni at 11:50.
Fly from Kwajoni with Auric Air daily at 12:35 pm with arrival in Dar 12:55.


Onward journey to / from Zanzibar by boat or boat from / to Ushongo

By boat / boat you can now drive directly from Kendwa at the northern tip of Zanzibar to us to Ushongo and vice versa.

Speeboot transfer
The New Zealand aluminum boat is registered with the Tanzanian authorities for this Zanzibar transfer. It has a 250 hp Honda engine with a 40 hp replacement engine, radio, GPS and life jackets on board and can max. Transport 15 people. The luggage is protected splash water. It leaves daily at 7:30 in the morning in our bay Ushongo, and then 1.5 hours later in Kendwa on Zanzibar. Back from Kendwa the departure time is 10:30. Dhow with engine transfer
For all sea - & wave - proof guests we also offer alternatively a boat transfer with our snorkeling & excursion boat of Captain Wahidi. This is also approved by the authorities, has 2 engines, a roof made of canvas and benches, but is a little more comfortable with 4h driving time. But the price with 140US $ for up to 4 people 3USD booking fee per person is also very cheap, for 5 people it is 43 US $ including the booking fee per person. Start is at 7 o'clock in the morning, the destination Kendwa on Zanzibar. We need 24h lead time.

A taxi from Stone Town to Kendwa or vice versa costs about $ 70. Dalla Dalla drive to the junction to Kendwa on the main road, the remaining km to the beach you can walk, but we have heard of raids on this route.
